Good Day everyone, this is Kons. Marlyn “Lovely” Colot, Chairwoman, Committee on Environment of Bacayan, Cebu City would like to inform that as of this date, the Barangay and Councils no longer receives reports, concerns and other community issues relative to garbage collection schedule (both Barangay and City Garbage Collection Team), indiscriminate disposal of dead animals, illegal disposal and dumping of mixed domestic garbage, as well as pile of garbage (in sacks and plastics) along the National Road. Little by little, the Community through Information and Education Campaign (IEC) adopted the systematic schemes introduced by Barangay Bacayan through the effort of Barangay Captain, Winston Pepito. In relation thereto, we are at the same time moving and looking forward finding innovative strategies that will be added to the current schemes.
